Job Description
Make a lasting impact in the classroom as a Special Education Teacher supporting students across a wide range of grade levels, from early childhood through high school. This contract position allows you to apply your expertise in creating individualized education plans and fostering a nurturing learning environment that meets the diverse needs of students.
Youll have the opportunity to work with students in pre-K, kindergarten, elementary, middle, and high school settings. Collaboration and adaptability will be key as you tailor instruction, implement accommodations, and support learners in developing academic and personal growth.
Ideal candidates will have:
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education (or eligibility)
- Background working with students from early childhood through high school, including those with varying disabilities
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to modify curriculum across multiple grade bands (K12), particularly supporting math instruction
- Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and effective communication with families and educational teams
- Commitment to fostering inclusive and positive learning environments for all students
Key responsibilities include:

- Implementing IEPs and tracking student progress
