Qualifications:
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education
- Endorsement in Math or relevant subject expertise preferred
- Demonstrated experience with differentiated instruction for diverse learners
- Ability to adapt lesson plans for individual education plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Flexibility in working with students across multiple grade levels
Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted instruction to students in a variety of grade ranges, including Early Childhood, Kindergarten, and grades 1-12
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs, ensuring each student receives appropriate accommodations and modifications
- Foster an inclusive, engaging classroom environment that prioritizes each students needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, school staff, and families to maximize student success
- Track and assess student progress, adapting instructional methods as necessary
- Support students socio-emotional development and academic growth
