Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Valid and active Special Education teaching credential
• Experience teaching students at various grade levels, from Pre-K to 12th grade
• Proficiency in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong skills in differentiated instruction, especially in math
• Ability to foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Previous experience in a school or educational setting preferred
• Passion for advocating for students with diverse learning needs

Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and small group instruction in accordance with IEP goals
• Adapt curriculum to meet the unique needs of students across multiple grade levels
• Evaluate student progress and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and families
• Participate in IEP meetings and professional development sessions
• Create a safe, engaging, and supportive classroom atmosphere
• Engage in ongoing assessment and modification of teaching strategies to ensure student success
