Key Qualifications:
- Current Michigan (MI) Educator Certification required
- Experience with middle school resource or special education preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive, and engaging classroom community
- Excellent communication skills for working with students, families, and colleagues
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and small group instruction tailored to student needs
- Develop and maintain effective IEPs, manage documentation, and participate in meetings
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to drive student progress
- Monitor student growth, adjust strategies as needed, and provide feedback
