Full-time contract opportunities are available for three Special Education Teachers to make a meaningful impact throughout the upcoming school year. Positions are designed to serve a diverse population, including one Elementary ASD/CI classroom, one High School ASD classroom, and one Resource Room.

The school year begins August 18, 2026, and these roles offer a supportive, collaborative environment committed to student-centered teaching.

What were looking for:

• Active Michigan Special Education Teacher certification with CI or ASD endorsement (please ensure credentials are current and included in your application)
• Experience or strong interest in teaching students diagnosed with ASD or cognitive impairments highly preferred
• Proven ability to adapt instruction to a variety of learning needs
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Dedication to providing a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Key responsibilities:

• Design and deliver individualized instruction based on IEPs
• Implement evidence-based strategies tailored to students with ASD and cognitive impairments
• Collaborate with fellow educators, paraprofessionals, and support staff to deliver consistent and effective support
• Track student progress, maintain thorough records, and participate actively in IEP meetings
• Foster strong relationships with families, communicating student growth and strategies for continued progress
