- Specialized and center-based classroom settings
Available Assignments:
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Support
- Middle and high school programs
- Transition-focused classrooms
- Short-term leave coverage opportunities
- Emotional Impairments (EI) Support
- Elementary and specialized classroom programs
- Full school year opportunities
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized instruction and support based on student needs.
- Assist students with academic, behavioral, and functional goals.
- Create a safe and structured learning environment.
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and support teams.
- Support students with varying levels of behavioral and learning needs.
Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan Special Education Teacher Certification
- Appropriate Special Education endorsement:
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (SV)
- Emotional Impairments (EI)
- Experience supporting students with ASD and/or EI preferred
- Experience in center-based programs preferred
- Comfortable working with students who may demonstrate mild to severe behaviors
