This onsite contract position runs from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM each weekday and is available for an immediate start, continuing through June 25, 2026. Qualifications:

• Hold an active Massachusetts teaching license/certification in Moderate or Severe Disabilities
• Demonstrated experience as a special education teacher in a school-based setting
• Familiarity with developmental delays and intellectual impairments in early elementary students
• Able to complete CORI background check and fingerprinting (a letter of suitability from a previous employer may be accepted for fingerprints)
• Committed to onsite instruction and capable of engaging learners in person
• Ready to participate in a Zoom interview

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Create a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment
• Deliver direct instruction and adapt curriculum for diverse learning abilities
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including parents, specialists, and other educators
• Monitor and document student progress, making data-driven instructional decisions
