An opportunity is available for a Special Education teacher to support an elementary-age Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) program within a dynamic school setting located in Marlborough, MA. This full-time contract position involves working Monday through Friday, 8:15 am to 3:30 pm, with a 30-minute lunch break and daily 40-minute preparation time.
Key responsibilities include instructing and supporting students in the ASD Pathways program, managing a caseload of students requiring specialized educational plans, and collaborating with staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that foster academic and social growth.
Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts Special Education (SPED) teaching license
- Experience working with ASD students and elementary age groups
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to design differentiated instruction and manage behavioral plans
