Qualifications:
- Valid Connecticut Special Education Teacher certification
- Previous experience with high school students preferred
- Strong understanding of resource and inclusion models
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored instruction and support within resource and inclusive classrooms
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for each student on your caseload
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success
- Monitor progress, adjust teaching strategies, and maintain effective documentation
- Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment that encourages student growth and independence
Key Details:
- Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday
- Serve high school students within a resource/inclusion caseload
- Work collaboratively to meet the unique educational goals of each learner
