Qualifications:

  • Valid Connecticut Special Education Teacher certification
  • Previous experience with high school students preferred
  • Strong understanding of resource and inclusion models
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored instruction and support within resource and inclusive classrooms
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for each student on your caseload
  • Collaborate closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success
  • Monitor progress, adjust teaching strategies, and maintain effective documentation
  • Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment that encourages student growth and independence

  • Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday
  • Serve high school students within a resource/inclusion caseload

Compensation for this position ranges from $25.50 to $55.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
