Make a positive impact every day by supporting students as a Special Education Teacher for the elementary level. This full-time contract opportunity is available for the upcoming school years, with the assignment running through June 11, 2027. Work closely with a diverse group of learners, each with unique needs, as you foster growth in a welcoming and collaborative environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Washington State certification as a Special Education Teacher.
• Experience or strong interest in working with students experiencing a range of disabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Collaborative mindset for partnering with other educators, staff, and families.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work onsite five days a week, Monday through Friday, for 7.5 hours per day.

Core Responsibilities:

• Teach and support elementary students in a special education setting.
• Design and monitor individualized education plans tailored to each student.
• Adapt instruction and materials to meet diverse learning needs and styles.
• Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
• Engage with parents, guardians, and school staff to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training.
