A full-time Special Education Teacher opportunity is available in Woodland Park, CO, focused on supporting students at both the elementary and high school levels. This contract position requires an educator with active certification in Special Education, ready to manage a diverse caseload across multiple grade levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of students in elementary and high school.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and support staff to ensure inclusive and effective learning environments.
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies to optimize learning outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and state regulations.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Active Special Education certification valid in the state.
- Experience working with both elementary and secondary students.
