Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join a school-based team in Woodbridge, New Jersey. This is a great opportunity for an educator who is passionate about individualized instruction and helping students with disabilities reach their academic, behavioral, and social-emotional goals.
Position Highlights
- Provide individualized and specially designed instruction based on student needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams
- Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to support diverse learners
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate educational documentation
- Support students' academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and functional development
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, paraprofessionals, and families
- Create a structured, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or higher in Special Education or a related field
- Valid New Jersey Special Education teaching certification appropriate for the assignment
- Experience working with students with disabilities preferred
- Knowledge of IEP development, accommodations, modifications, and progress monitoring
- Strong classroom management, communication, organization, and collaboration skills
