What Were Looking For:

• Valid certification to teach Special Education (or eligibility to obtain)
• Knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
• Commitment to collaborative teamwork with related service providers
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Flexibility in adapting instruction to meet various learning needs
• Enthusiasm and patience in supporting students individual goals
• Open to new graduates as well as experienced teachers

Responsibilities Include:

• Reviewing and modifying IEP goals in partnership with the educational team
• Delivering direct instruction to students based on their individualized goals
• Monitoring and documenting student progress
• Maintaining compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
• Actively participating in team meetings and professional development
• Creating a supportive, inclusive, and positive classroom environment
• Caseload assignments tailored to your experience and preference
