An opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to support students in a school setting in Winona, MN. This contract role is ideal for educators with experience and a passion for helping students with special needs succeed academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to provide a supportive learning environment
- Adapt instructional materials and teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities
- Monitor and document student progress, making adjustments to interventions as needed
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations related to special education
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid teaching certification in special education
