This assignment is based at one welcoming school, Clover Street School, giving you the chance to build deep relationships and make a sustained impact in a Social Emotional Behavioral Classroom for students in grades 3-5. Qualifications:

  • Valid CT Special Education (SPED) license
  • Previous experience or strong passion for working in social-emotional and behavioral support settings
  • Ability to foster positive classroom environments and individualized learning plans

Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized instruction to students in grades 3-5 within a social-emotional behavioral framework
  • Develop and implement IEPs, track progress, and adjust strategies as needed
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers, therapists, and staff for holistic student support
  • Communicate effectively with families to build trust and foster home-school partnerships
