Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Delaware Special Education Teacher certification required

Role Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each students goals
  • Foster a supportive, engaging classroom environment that encourages learning and development
  • Adapt curriculum and instructional materials to accommodate students diverse learning styles
  • Participate in team meetings and collaborate on progress monitoring
  • Utilize districts IEP management systems (training provided as needed)
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation as required
  • Engage in indirect activities such as admin time and paid participation in team meetings
  • Advocate for students needs and celebrate their achievements
