Key Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Teaching Certification, K-12
- Bachelors degree in Education or related field
- Previous experience working with high school-aged students preferred
- Strong commitment to individualized instruction and collaborative problem solving
- Familiarity with IEP processes and skills-based learning approaches
- Compassion, creativity, and strong communication skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction tailored to diverse learning needs
- Develop and implement IEPs in coordination with support staff and families
- Utilize data-driven strategies to monitor student progress and adjust plans
- Create a positive, structured classroom setting that encourages student independence
- Collaborate actively with other educators, therapists, and support personnel
- Communicate regularly and effectively with parents and guardians
