This dynamic role offers full-time hours working in elementary self-contained classrooms (K-5 or Pre-K). Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teaching License for Tennessee
• Experience working with elementary or Pre-K students in self-contained special education settings preferred
• Strong commitment to fostering inclusion, empowerment, and growth for all students
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to adapt instruction using a variety of strategies and resources
• Capable of starting as soon as possible and available through early June

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized instruction and specialized support to students in self-contained K-5 or Pre-K classrooms
• Develop, implement, and evaluate IEPs in collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams
• Monitor progress and adjust strategies to meet students academic, behavioral, and social goals
• Engage in daily communication and partnership with classroom staff and families
• Maintain compliance with district and state special education policies and documentation requirements
