With a structured schedule from 7:15am to 2:45pm, youll have the consistency and predictability needed to form strong relationships and create a supportive classroom environment.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate with Special Education endorsement for middle school
• Experience providing specialized instruction to students with autism or within an autistic support setting
• Strong classroom management skills and ability to implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Excellent communication abilities with students, staff, and parents
• Adaptability, creativity, and a genuine passion for helping students thrive

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored instruction to meet the needs of a small group of middle school students receiving autistic support services
• Develop and implement effective strategies and accommodations as outlined in each students IEP
• Foster an inclusive, positive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and growth
• Collaborate with related service providers, teaching assistants, and other staff to maximize student outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and participate in ongoing IEP meetings and team discussions

This contract position is available for immediate start, running through June 2027, for 35 hours per week with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
