Job Description

This position requires hands-on, in-person engagement with students, helping tailor educational experiences and participating actively in their Individualized Education Program (IEP) planning and implementation. Successful candidates will bring enthusiasm, adaptability, and an established track record in special education settings.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current Pennsylvania teaching license
  • Active PA PDE Certification
  • Professional experience with K-12 special education students
  • Demonstrated skill in developing and implementing IEPs
  • Commitment to onsite, in-person instruction throughout assignment dates

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct instruction to students with diverse learning needs in K-12 environments
  • Assess student abilities, develop goals, and implement individualized educational strategies
  • Collaborate with families, general educators, and support teams to enhance student outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records and document student progress
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide expertise in best practices for special education
