Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification or eligibility for certification
• Experience designing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong understanding of a variety of disabilities and ability to adjust teaching strategies accordingly
• Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred
• Ability to maintain patience, empathy, and professionalism in all interactions

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, write, and execute IEPs tailored to students academic and behavioral goals
• Modify curriculum and adapt instructional strategies to engage diverse learners
• Regularly assess student progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Foster a safe, caring, and inclusive classroom environment
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success
• Maintain accurate records and follow all state and federal guidelines
