Positions are available at the elementary, middle, or high school level, and all instruction will be in person, contributing directly to classroom life and student success.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education (state licensure required)
- Experience working with elementary, middle, or high school students
- Knowledge of developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Skills in adapting curriculum and instructional strategies for diverse learners
- Ability to collaborate with fellow educators, support staff, and families
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work either full time or part time on site
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging, modified instruction based on individual student needs
- Evaluate student progress and adjust supports to maximize development
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Create a supportive, inclusive, and positive classroom environment
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to compliance requirements
- Communicate regularly with families regarding progress and needs
