Key Qualifications:

• Valid Utah Special Education License/Certification required
• Experience or strong interest in life skills and K-3 special education caseloads
• Ability to adapt instructional methods to individual needs
• Skilled in maintaining IEP compliance and documentation
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with parents, colleagues, and support staff
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, nurturing classroom environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction to K-3 students with unique learning needs in a Life Skills setting
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Differentiate instruction to promote the success of each learner
• Utilize evidence-based strategies for behavior and classroom management
• Engage families in the educational progress of their children
• Participate in professional development and multidisciplinary team meetings
• Maintain timely, meticulous records and progress reports
