Qualifications and Skills:
- Active Ohio Intervention Specialist license required
- Experience designing and implementing IEPs (Individual Education Plans)
- Ability to build strong rapport with students, staff, and families
- Skilled in adapting curriculum to various learning styles
- Capable of providing direct instruction in resource and inclusive settings
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Open to both onsite and remote professionals
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs tailored to students unique needs
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers and related service providers
- Adapt and modify instructional materials to support diverse learners
- Foster a supportive, structured, and positive learning environment
- Guide and support paraprofessionals and assistants as needed
- Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and goals
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
