Make a real impact by supporting elementary students as a Special Education Teacher in a Resource Room environment. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work closely with students in grades K-5, nurturing their growth and development in an encouraging, inclusive setting.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Teaching certification
- Experience working with students in grades K-5
- Previous involvement as a case manager considered a strong advantage
- Skilled in planning and delivering individualized instruction
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 25 students
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver small group and individualized instruction in a Resource Room setting
- Serve as a support and advocate for students educational and behavioral needs
- Develop and implement IEPs in accordance with state and federal requirements
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families for student success
- Monitor student progress, adjust strategies as needed, and maintain comprehensive records
- Provide case management and ensure compliance with required documentation
