Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Current NC EC Teaching Certification required
• Previous experience teaching in a special education classroom setting is highly valued
• Strong understanding of IEPs and ability to implement accommodations and modifications
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with colleagues, families, and support staff
• Passion for working with students across elementary and middle school grade levels

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver differentiated instructional plans tailored to individual learning profiles
• Write, update, and manage IEPs to ensure compliance and support for each student
• Employ evidence-based strategies to support academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth
• Maintain accurate records and progress monitoring data
• Collaborate regularly with general education teachers, specialists, and families to create inclusive learning experiences
