Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Missouri Special Education Teacher license (MO SPED) required
- Prior experience with either upper elementary or high school special education students highly valued
- Ability to develop and implement IEPs and differentiate instruction effectively
- Collaborative mindset for co-teaching environments
- Strong communication and organization skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide instruction in a resource setting for 4th and 5th grade students or in a high school ELA classroom (co-teaching, pull-out model)
- Manage a caseload of approximately 20 students
- Collaborate with general education staff and support personnel
- Maintain accurate and timely student records and IEP documentation
