Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid certification in Special Education (or eligibility in the state)
- Experience developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and accommodations
- Effective communication skills for working with students, families, and colleagues
- Ability to adapt to various student strengths and challenges across grade levels
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs tailored to each students unique needs
- Provide direct instruction in individual or small group settings, focusing on both academic and social-emotional growth
- Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff to ensure students integration and success
- Employ a variety of instructional strategies and technologies for accessible learning
- Evaluate student progress, adjusting approaches as needed for optimal outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely communication with families and school staff
