Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid certification in Special Education (or eligibility in the state)
• Experience developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and accommodations
• Effective communication skills for working with students, families, and colleagues
• Ability to adapt to various student strengths and challenges across grade levels

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs tailored to each students unique needs
• Provide direct instruction in individual or small group settings, focusing on both academic and social-emotional growth
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff to ensure students integration and success
• Employ a variety of instructional strategies and technologies for accessible learning
• Evaluate student progress, adjusting approaches as needed for optimal outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely communication with families and school staff
