Bring your expertise as a Special Education professional to a rewarding, in-person contract role supporting students and staff in a dynamic school environment near Waterbury, VT. For the 2026-27 school year, three dedicated Special Education Case Coordinators are needed to collaborate with educators and students at the high school, elementary, and middle school levels. With a focus on student success and collaborative practices, you'll play a vital role in providing individualized support and ensuring compliance with state educational standards.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid state Special Education teaching certification/credentials (required)
- Experience in Special Education settingselementary, middle, or high school
- Ability to work in-person throughout the contract period (remote not available)
- Strong organizational and case management skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
What Youll Do:
- Serve as a Case Coordinator for your assigned school level (high school, elementary, or middle)
- Collaborate closely with another in-person special educator on a dyad model at the high school level (Position 1)
- Oversee and coordinate IEPs, assessments, and student service plans
- Facilitate communication between families, educators, and administrators
- Monitor compliance with state and federal Special Education regulations
- Support the transition from virtual to in-person services as needed
