Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Valid Special Education teaching license for the state, meeting all current credentialing requirements
  • Experience working within school settings with diverse exceptionalities
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt and modify instruction based on individualized student needs
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive, nurturing learning environment
  • Flexibility to work on-site throughout the full academic school year (no remote or hybrid options)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to address the varied needs of students
  • Modify curriculum and instructional techniques to accommodate students learning styles
  • Collaborate closely with general educators, related-service staff, and family members
  • Use progress monitoring tools to assess, document, and report academic and behavioral achievements
  • Participate in IEP meetings, professional development sessions, and school events
  • Ensure compliance with all state regulations and district protocols
