This travel position offers an opportunity to work as a Special Education Teacher in various school settings within Waterbury, CT. The role focuses on supporting students with diverse learning needs by implementing individualized education programs and collaborating with school staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction tailored to individual student needs
- Develop and maintain Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and parents to support student growth
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly
- Manage classroom behavior and create an inclusive learning environment
