Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired. This full-time school-based position centers around a single campus, giving you the chance to foster strong, consistent relationships and make a lasting impact with a dedicated caseload of 35 students. The assignment runs from August 14 through June 8, allowing you to fulfill the academic year and see student progress firsthand.

Qualifications:
- Valid North Carolina Teacher of the Visually Impaired (NC TVI) license (required)
- Experience working with K-12 students in special education settings
- Strong communication and organization skills

- Ability to create customized lesson plans and adapt materials for individual learning styles
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction to visually impaired students
- Assess and adapt the curriculum to ensure accessibility and engagement
- Work closely with general education staff to implement best practices and accommodations
- Monitor student progress and collaborate with families
- Maintain organized records and provide input for IEP meetings
