Bring your expertise in special education and passion for early childhood learning to a rewarding contract opportunity as a Special Education Teacher in an elementary setting. Work closely with a small, engaged group of K-1st grade studentscaseload just 7supported by two dedicated paraprofessionals and a collaborative special education team. This is a full-time, onsite position that encourages innovative approaches and values your commitment to student success.

Ideal candidates will possess:

• Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Certification
• Valid teaching certification for special education
• Previous experience working with young children, ideally in K-1st grade
• Strong skills in fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with paraprofessionals and staff

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning and implementing individualized instructional strategies tailored to students with ASD and other needs
• Collaborating with paraprofessionals, therapists, and other team members for comprehensive support
• Monitoring student progress and adapting lessons as needed to maximize learning outcomes
• Communicating regularly with families and caregivers regarding milestones and strategies
• Maintaining compliance with all special education documentation and reporting requirements
