Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instructional support tailored to the diverse learning needs of students in grades K-5.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) aligned with state guidelines.
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to create an inclusive classroom environment.
- Monitor student progress and adjust instructional techniques to maximize learning outcomes.
- Maintain comprehensive records and communicate effectively with families and multidisciplinary teams.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Michigan Special Education (SPED) teaching license.
- Demonstrated experience teaching in resource settings for elementary-aged children.
- Strong understanding of federal and state special education regulations.
- Ability to modify curriculum and instruction to support individual student goals.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
