What Were Looking For:
- Bachelors degree (B.A./B.S.) in teaching from an accredited college or university
- Current Pennsylvania State Special Education Certification (K-8 or N12) a must-have
- Experience or passion for supporting middle school students with diverse learning needs
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Adaptable and resourceful mindset to tailor lesson plans and interventions to each students strengths
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct instruction to middle school students in a variety of formats, adapting curriculum for individual needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Work closely with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to ensure comprehensive support for each student
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and interventions
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school activities to stay engaged with the educational community
