We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher with a current KY Teaching Certification to deliver exceptional services in multiple schools near Walton, KY. This role begins August 17th, 2026, and continues through May 26th, 2027, with a full-time schedule of 35 onsite hours each week.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Kentucky Teaching Certification (KY Teaching Cert) in Special Education
• Recent experience as a Special Education Teacher in a K-12 setting
• Strong understanding of IEP development, progress monitoring, and compliance
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organization abilities
• Professional, reliable, and adaptable to working across multiple school locations
• Must provide current ZIP code for school placements

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and support to students with special needs, adhering to individualized IEPs
• Administer and document assessments, progress reports, and goal achievement
• Foster an inclusive learning environment that supports student growth and engagement
• Collaboratively plan and implement accommodations and modifications with general education staff
• Participate in IEP meetings, team planning sessions, and parent conferences as required
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold district and state compliance standards
• Serve as a resource and advocate for students and their families
