An opportunity is available for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support students with diverse learning needs in a school setting. This contract position is located in Waltham, MA, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact on student success through tailored instruction and individualized support.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) aligned with students academic and social-emotional needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure inclusive learning environments

- Monitor and document student progress, providing regular feedback and adjusting instruction as necessary

Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification or licensure
- Experience working with students with various disabilities in a K-12 educational setting
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to create individualized lesson plans and utilize differentiated instructional methods
