Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid teaching certification in special education
• Prior experience as a Special Education Teacher in a school setting preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP processes, special education law, and best instructional practices
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to working with children of varying abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student
• Provide specialized instruction in individual or small group settings, adjusting teaching strategies as needed
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success and inclusion
• Track student progress, update goals, and maintain accurate records as required
• Support a positive, respectful learning atmosphere, encouraging student engagement and achievement
