This opportunity is for a Special Education Teacher position in Texas, designed for educators with a passion for supporting K-12 students in diverse learning environments. This role involves travel and a commitment to delivering specialized instruction tailored to meet varying student needs in special education settings.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Texas Special Education teaching certification
- Experience working with K-12 students in special education
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Location and Schedule:
- Travel assignment based in Texas, with placements in schools throughout the region
- 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Serving students across kindergarten through 12th grade
Responsibilities:
- Provide differentiated instruction and support to students with disabilities
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies to meet individualized goals
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
- Participate in professional development and team meetings as needed
