Qualifications & Credentials:

• Valid Texas special education teaching certification is required
• Experience working with K-12 students in a school-based special education setting preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
• Ability to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Adaptability and commitment to fostering student growth

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and execute lesson plans tailored to individual student needs
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records on student progress and IEP goals
• Collaborate with general education staff, families, and related service providers
• Utilize effective classroom management strategies to promote a supportive learning atmosphere
• Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and district special education regulations
• Provide direct instruction and interventions across a range of subjects and grade levels (K-12)
