Required Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Special Education certification or licensure (Indiana preferred)
- Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher, especially with upper elementary grades
- Proficient in facilitating both push-in and pull-out interventions
- Strong knowledge of writing and implementing IEPs
- Skilled in progress monitoring and data-driven instruction
- Capable of fulfilling all Teacher of Record duties, ensuring compliance and advocacy for student needs
- Exceptional communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted instruction to students with mild disabilities, both within general education classes and individualized pull-out sessions
- Develop, update, and manage IEPs, communicating progress with families and team members
- Analyze student data and track progress toward IEP goals, making adjustments as needed
- Work collaboratively with school staff and families to provide consistent support for students
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all educational guidelines and timelines
