Key Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education
• Experience working with a range of grade levels, from Pre-K and Kindergarten through 12th Grade
• Strong background in differentiated instruction and individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Proficiency in adapting Math curriculum for various learning needs
• Effective communication skills to engage with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Flexibility and creativity in classroom management
• Familiarity with modern teaching technologies and strategies

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement customized lesson plans for students with a variety of learning differences
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to enhance student growth
• Maintain and monitor IEPs, ensuring accommodations and modifications are followed
• Use data-driven strategies to assess and support academic progress, focusing on both group and one-on-one settings
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture that encourages engagement and social-emotional growth
• Adapt Math curricula and teaching approaches to best support individual student goals
