Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid Special Education teaching certification
  • Previous experience in a school setting, ideally in special education
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes and compliance
  • Exceptional communication and classroom management skills
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Flexibility, patience, and a student-centered mindset

Responsibilities Include:

  • Designing and delivering tailored lesson plans aligned with IEP goals
  • Monitoring student progress and adjusting strategies as needed
  • Working closely with general education teachers, specialists, and support personnel
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation
  • Communicating regularly with families to keep them informed and involved in their childs education
  • Creating an inclusive, encouraging, and safe classroom environment
