Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification
- Previous experience in a school setting, ideally in special education
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and compliance
- Exceptional communication and classroom management skills
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Flexibility, patience, and a student-centered mindset
Responsibilities Include:
- Designing and delivering tailored lesson plans aligned with IEP goals
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting strategies as needed
- Working closely with general education teachers, specialists, and support personnel
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Communicating regularly with families to keep them informed and involved in their childs education
- Creating an inclusive, encouraging, and safe classroom environment
