Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education
• Bachelors degree in Special Education or a related field

• Previous experience working in a school setting preferred
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Comfortable adapting to various learning styles and needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
• Deliver instruction in accordance with students IEP goals and state standards
• Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and support staff to facilitate student success
• Monitor student progress and maintain detailed records of assessments and interventions
• Communicate regularly with families to keep them informed of progress and serve as a resource for student support
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and ongoing professional development
