Key Qualifications & Desired Experience

• Valid Special Education teaching credential (or eligibility)
• Versatility in working with students from Pre-K through 12th grade, including elementary, middle, and high school levels
• Experience or confidence teaching Math within the special education framework a strong asset
• Understanding of IEP processes and commitment to individualized instructional strategies
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, families, and administrators
• Enthusiasm for cultivating a positive, engaging, and student-centered classroom environment
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

Primary Responsibilities

• Design and deliver differentiated instruction that meets students unique needs, learning styles, and abilities
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with staff and families
• Foster a welcoming, inclusive classroom culture that celebrates diversity and recognizes each students potential
• Assess student progress, document achievements, and adjust strategies as needed to maximize growth
• Build supportive relationships with students and encourage social, emotional, and academic development
• Communicate regularly with families and fellow educators to ensure consistent support for all students
