Key Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in teaching from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Pennsylvania State Special Education Certification K-8 or N12 is required.
• Experience working with middle school-aged children is highly preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and colleagues.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, aides, and related service providers for integrated student support.

• Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate regularly with parents and guardians.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development sessions to stay at the forefront of best practices in special education.
