Key Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or higher
- Current Pennsylvania Special Education certification
- Experience working with elementary or middle school students preferred, especially in specialized environments
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Dedication to promoting student success and adapting instruction to diverse learner needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver instruction for K-8 students in assigned caseloads, including 2nd grade learning support, Wilson Reading (grades 3-8), and K-2 emotional support classrooms
- Design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with fellow educators and families
- Use evidence-based practices to support a variety of learning and behavioral needs
- Maintain a nurturing, structured, and positive classroom environment
- Track student progress and provide consistent feedback for continuous development
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best possible student outcomes
