Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelors degree from an accredited university
• Hold a valid South Carolina Department of Education teaching license in a special education area (such as Learning Disabilities, Multi-categorical, or Emotional Disabilities)
• Demonstrated enthusiasm for nurturing inclusive learning environments
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues, families, and support staff
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored instruction and support based on students Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Develop differentiated lesson plans that address multiple learning styles and abilities
• Employ evidence-based interventions and positive behavior strategies
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress monitoring, and compliance with state regulations
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development sessions
• Work up to 37.5 hours per week; specific caseload will be determined once hired
• Uphold the school calendar, with a contract tentatively running from August 4, 2026 through May 27, 2027
