Available assignments include leading a high school self-contained classroom or guiding an elementary resource room. Expect a consistent weekly schedule of 35 hours across five days, with the convenience of paid indirect time and participation in team meetings. The contract runs from August 20, 2026 to May 27, 2027, offering stability and the chance to build meaningful relationships with students and colleagues alike.
Qualifications for this position include:
Active Missouri Special Education Teaching License
Prior experience in schools is valued but not mandatorypassion for education and interest in working in a school-based setting are highly encouraged
Applicants should demonstrate a sincere dedication to supporting students with a variety of learning differences

Responsibilities include:
Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
Collaborating with general education staff, therapists, and families to support each student's success
Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports
