Qualifications:
- Valid teaching license with a Special Education endorsement
- Experience developing and implementing IEPs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of a variety of instructional strategies to address diverse needs
- Ability to manage and document student progress effectively
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instruction to students with exceptionalities in a classroom setting
- Create and adapt lesson plans to accommodate unique learning styles and abilities
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal requirements
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere where all students feel valued
- Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers to implement IEPs
- Communicate consistently with parents and guardians to support student growth and address concerns
