Special Education Teacher Aspen, CO (Onsite)
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a full-time, onsite position in Aspen, Colorado. This is a great opportunity to support students with diverse learning needs in a collaborative and supportive school environment.
Position Details:
- Full-Time (3540 hours per week)
- Onsite in Aspen, CO
- W-2 contract through Sunbelt Staffing
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: End of School Year (with potential for renewal)
- Caseload: K12 (discussed during interview)
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized instruction aligned with IEP goals
- Develop, implement, and update IEPs
- Support students with a variety of disabilities and learning needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and support staff
- Implement behavior intervention plans and monitor student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance
Qualifications:
- Active Colorado Special Education Teaching License
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Special Education or related field
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
