Make a difference supporting students for the 2025-2026 school year as a Special Education Teacher working with a caseload of 20 students. Key Qualifications:

• Current New York State teaching certification in Special Education
• Previous experience with IEPs, direct instruction, assessments, and evaluations for students with special needs
• Strong communication and organizational skills for collaborating with families, team members, and administration
• Willingness to work 10 hours per week during the school year
• Ability to oversee a caseload of up to 20 students, providing individualized attention

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct and oversee student assessments and evaluations to monitor progress and adjust learning plans
• Deliver targeted instruction and direct therapy to support educational goals
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing insights and collaborating with other professionals to develop robust educational strategies
• Manage and document indirect time such as team meetings and administrative duties within contractual hours
• Travel between school sites as needed, with paid travel time and potential mileage reimbursement
